Tappeinerweg
The path runs above the rooftops of Meran into the town centre and was endowed some 200 years ago by spa physician and botanist Franz Tappeiner. Alpine and Mediterranean vegetation on one route.
Meraner Höhenweg
One of the finest circular trails in the Alps: views across the Meran basin, into the Vinschgau and as far as Bozen, plus alpine pastures, forests and rock faces.
Algunder Waalweg
The easy path leads past lush vineyards and fragrant apple orchards to Gratsch, where it merges with the Tappeinerweg. Wooden benches along the way, panoramic views over the Etsch valley.

Do I need a car to reach the trails?
No, all three trails – Tappeinerweg, Meraner Höhenweg and Algunder Waalweg – are reachable directly on foot from the hotel.
What does the hotel offer after your hike?

Is the Tappeinerweg walkable in winter too?
