Our tips for a stress-free journey

You will find the Hotel Wessobrunn in a quiet sunny location only 10 minutes from Meran’s city centre. For a journey as seamless and relaxing as your stay, follow these directions.

Arriving by car

Via the Brennero/Brenner Pass
From the north, take the A13 motorway as far as the Brennero/Brenner Pass. From there, take the A22 motorway as far as the Bolzano-Süd exit. There, take the MeBo motorway (SS 38) towards Meran and exit at Meran-Zentrum. At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto Via Laurin (Gratsch) and then continue for approx. 1.5km until you reach Hotel Wessobrunn.

Via the Resia/Reschen Pass
From the north (D, A, CH), drive as far as Landeck and then take the Reschenstraße road (B 180) to Nauders (A) and, shortly afterwards, the Resia/Reschen Pass, which leads you across the Italian border. Continue along the SS 40 federal road to Spondinig. Here, take the second exit at the roundabout and follow the SS 38 to Algund, where the federal road joins the MeBo motorway (SS 38). Continue on the motorway towards Bolzano until you reach the Meran-Zentrum exit. At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto Via Laurin (Gratsch), and then continue for approx. 1.5km until you reach Hotel Wessobrunn.

From the south
Coming from the south, take the A22 Brenner motorway towards Bolzano, then take the Bolzano-Sud exit and join the MeBo motorway (SS 38). Follow this road in the direction of Meran and take the Meran-Zentrum exit. At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto Via Laurin (Gratsch), and then continue for approx. 1.5km until you reach the Hotel Wessobrunn.

Arriving by train

All major train services, including Trenitalia, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), and the German Railways (DB), stop in the provincial capital Bolzano. From there, South Tyrolean regional trains to Meran run every 30-60 minutes. The hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the train station.

Arriving by bus

Various long-distance bus lines, such as the Meraner Land Express and the Südtirol Express, will transport you to Meran from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. For travel within the province, the regional buses will take you to your destination.

Arriving by plane

The nearest airports are in:
